New York Open Mic

DimeStories NYC at Barbes at 8pm hosted by Kimberly M. Wetherell. The evening begins with showcase readers, then we open up the stage for more 3-minute stories, finishing up with a musical guest to be announced. This event is the first installment in a reading series starting on Sunday, December 6th and each first Sunday thereafter. DimeStories NYC open mic will be ready for your stories. Remember: 3-minutes and prose only, and we really mean it. We wouldn’t joke about such things.

We don’t have anyone actively developing DimeStories open mic events in New York, but open to it for sure! If you or anyone you know is interested, let us know!

Can you find a venue in Manhattan? There are a lot of us that would love to attend these events but not have to go out to the boroughs.
