We had a great time reading at the LA Times Book Festival this year. In case you missed it, check out the pictures:
It’s strange this thing we call “April” here in the Duke City… snow, rain, big wind… and another fabulous round of Duke City DimeStories. Check out the Best of April stories, voices familiar and new.
Benjamin Franklin said “In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.” Clearly he didn’t know about Duke City DimeStories. Our next event will take place on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at The Source (1111 Carlisle SE). Sign up begins at 6:45pm. Show starts at 7pm.
We’ve had some awesome authors read their original pieces, listen to the Best Of, then bring YOUR best 3 minutes and come on down!
Thanks to everyone who attended our 2nd DimeStories Open Mic. We had a great time, heard some great stories and we’re looking forward to more! Mark your calendars– April 15 (it doesn’t have to be a bad day!)
