Bio:

John, originally from Michigan, came to San Diego in 2001.  He is the author of three historical novels, Prisoner Moon, Lorenzo’s Assassin and Braver Deeds.  He also edited his father’s WWII letters and you can find them on his website:    http://johnvanroekel.com   A software engineer by profession, John is a member and supporter of San Diego Writers, Ink, a nonprofit organization for writers.
